Parkinson's Awareness Month

Hey all! I don't know if you know this or not but this month is Parkinson's Awareness Month! Why am I glad? It's a personal cause for me.

Several years back my Grandma was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Now at the time I had no idea what it was or anything about the disease. After taking a week-long trip to visit her and my grandad in Idaho I was confronted with the beginings of the illness. I had noticed little things about her that seemed different. (I hadn't seen her in a few years but I knew some things were different) I was sitting down to dinner with the family in Idaho and she was bringing some things to the table and I noticed the shaking in her hands. Very hard to tell unless you were really paying attention but from what I can tell it has gotten worse. A few months later I got some things in the mail from her and noticed how crooked and disfigured her writing had become. This caught me off gaurd. I hope that some someday a cure will come for this disease.

The actual definitipn of the disease is:
A progressive disease of the nervous system marked by tremor, muscular rigidity, and slow, imprecise movement, chiefly affecting middle-aged and elderly people. It is associated with degeneration of the basal ganglia of the brain and a deficiency of the neurotransmitter dopamine

Japan Relief Show At The Pasaedna Playhouse!

Yesterday was the amazing Japan Relief show at the Pasadena Playhouse! They raised over $50,000! So proud! My favorite performers of the night were: Adam Pascal, Jennifer Paz, Gwen Stewart and Megan McGinnis! Everyone was amazing and the setup was FABULOUS!!! And the best part? I FINALLY got a stage door photo with Megan McGinnis!!!!

Isn't she just adorable? I love her :) So talented!

This was an amazing event and everyone was amazing! I hope they took some videos because I would love to have that on my ipod! I had a fabulous time and I'm sure my mom and Megan did too! I am so hopeful that I get to continue to go to some of these amazing events!

Today was FABULOUS!

Today was awesome! I thought today was just going to turn out okay because I was hanging out with people I didn't know all that well but I had a suprisingly good time! And I didn't get nervous! That NEVER happens! :) Anywhoooo. We went on an adventure today! Me, Katherine, Chris, John, Carlos and Zack went to a cupcakery and a soda shop and a waffle sandwich place! I ended up not getting a cupcake but I got a Jones Soda and A Waffle Burger! SO yummy! I gotta say I was so proud of myself that I didn't act like a total nerd in front of guys! It came as a shock to me! I always feel! like I'm a super nerd in front of guys. LAME! I wish I wasn't but I guess it just happens every time!

On another note this is the worst insomnia I've had in a long time! It's 1:22am and I'm still awake. NOT GOOD! I'm usually in bed by like 10pm. Hopefully it clears itself up fast! I cant stand being up this late.

I've got my fingers crossed for a good weekend/week but I'm not going to get my hopes up with all the pain I've been having in my knees lately. Hopefully that goes away soon as well!

I'm off to try and sleep. Goodnight all! Hope you're having a good week!

Dangerous Beauty...Part 2!

I loved today. LOVED IT!!! Me and my Dad went to see Dangerous Beauty again! It's addicting! I hope they tour :) I made sure to go stage door this time! Met James Snyder, Jenny Powers and Angel Reda finally! :) That made my day! And the show was fantastic again! I loved every second of it! And at the stage door everyone was soooo nice! They even stood around and talked with me for a few minutes! It was great! They should hire me for advertizing the show lol. I'm gonna spread the word :) Anywhoo...here's the photos of me and the cast :)

Birthday!!!

Dangerous Beauty...A Most Unique Musical :)

Dangerous Beauty The Musical was FABULOUS!!! From the Ensemble to the costumes to the crazy stages I loved ever minute of it! Jenny Powers was absolutley STUNNING as Veronica Franco and the rest of the cast shined! Even the ensemble members were fabulous! I origianlly went to see the play because one of my favorite actresses was in it (Angel Reda) but after seeing the show I would love to see it again! Despite her small part Angel was fabulous! I can't stop talking about this amazing cast and incredible new show. You have to go see it!

I Need A Confidence Boost.

I hate to be complaining all the time. Really I do. I just wish I had some more confidence in my life. I keep feeling so down and I wish that I didn't feel this way anymore! Anywhoo. I went shopping with my friend Megan the other day and it was sooooo fun! Here's a funny photo from that day:

Oh Boy!!

What a crazy past few weeks its been....not really. I'll just quickly update yall becuase I gotta leave in a few minutes...

Valentines Day - I cried twice, it was AWFUL! But my mom brought me flowers and that made me feel a little better - THANKS MOM!!!

I have been sleeping horribly lately! I have had nighmares almost every night and this morning I woke up crying because my dream was so sad :(

Sorry for all the bad news but I've been feeling AWFUL about myself lately and I can't seem to think of a way to feel any better! Hope your days are going better than mine, I really miss smiling.

Ah The Stresses Of Being...Me.

Oiy Vei! Some days I just can't stand being me! I started walking yesterday, it was soooo tiring! I just wanna lose the weight! Megan and I went for a walk yesterday (I walked about a mile!) and it was crazy! I was so glad to finally get walking until I realized I dont have walking clothes, that really sucks! So I ended up walking in a dress which was really uncomfortable. Hopefully I can find somehing else to walk in today!

AND - HUGE NEWS!!!! I finally got in touch with Louis Hayward's old manager and he is going to try and help me find some of the films I have been unable to find on my own! So I'm really hoping he pulls through for me and I can finally see Duffy Of San Quentin, Walk A Crooked Mile, The Lady And The Bandit and The Saint In New York!

Once Upon A Dream...

Hey guys sorry if my last post was disapointing becuase you didn't know the movies! And I'm so sorry I don't update more often! I update twitter more often (@wickedlychels  & @LouisHaywardFan) so please follow!

I was thinking about 2010 and how sad it was for me so I decided to post my main goals/expectations for the upcoming 2011. I can't gaurentee that I will make them all happen but 1 or 2 would be nice! So here I go! What I would like to do in 2011...
1. FINALLY get asked out on a date
2. lose weight & get in shape
3. FINALLY be in a relationship
4. learn to drive
5. get a job
6. be less afraid
7. finally get my tattoo

So Excited, and I just CAN'T hide it! :)

My birthday is coming up!!!! :) I'm gonna be 19!!! Holy Shiznit!!!! :) AND my mom is taking me to see the lovely Angel Reda in Dangerous Beauty :) The show looks AMAZING and not to mention it has Angel Reda! I saw her in Wicked a while back and she totally blew me away! I adore her and I'm so glad I get to see her again! :) I hate that my posts are so short but I have very little to say usually! Did you like my last post?

I had a great new years! So much fun and tons of great new pictures! :) Hopefully 2011 is better than 2010! I mean my 2010 was filled with boring and unentertaining things! JK! Here's the hilights of my 2010:
